Equipment

  • Large Skillet

Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 lb ribeye steak (or sirloin), sliced
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/4 cup chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

  • Cook fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear steak slices for 2-3 minutes per side until browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  • In the same pan, melt butter and add minced garlic. Sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
  • Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese, salt, black pepper, and smoked paprika. Simmer until thickened.
  • Return the cooked pasta to the pan and toss to coat in the sauce.
  • Add steak slices back to the pan and mix gently.
  • Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half or Greek yogurt.
