Pineapple Lemonade

Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 1 medium pineapple peeled, cored, and chopped
  • 4-5 large lemons freshly squeezed
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1/2 cup sugar or honey adjust to taste
  • ice cubes as needed

Optional Garnishes

  • fresh mint leaves for garnish
  • pineapple slices for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Peel, core, and chop the pineapple into small chunks.
  • Juice the lemons using a citrus juicer. Strain to remove any seeds and pulp.
  • In a blender, combine the chopped pineapple with 1 cup of cold water. Blend until smooth.
  • Strain the blended pineapple juice through a fine mesh strainer into a large pitcher to remove pulp.
  • Mix the pineapple juice, lemon juice, remaining cold water, and sweetener (sugar or honey) in the pitcher. Stir well until the sweetener is dissolved.
  • Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves and pineapple slices if desired.

Notes

For a fizzy twist, replace half the water with sparkling water.
Adjust sweetness based on personal preference.
Store in the fridge for up to 3 days and stir before serving.
