Main Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp fresh lemon balm leaves or 1 tbsp dried leaves
  • 4 cups water
  • 1 tbsp honey or to taste
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 4 ice cubes optional, for iced version

Instructions
 

  • Boil the water in a kettle or saucepan.
  • Add fresh or dried lemon balm leaves to a mug or pitcher.
  • Pour hot water over the leaves and let steep for 5-10 minutes.
  • Strain out the leaves and stir in honey and lemon juice.
  • For iced lemon balm drink, let the tea cool and pour over ice cubes.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Enhance the flavor by adding fresh mint, ginger, or chamomile. For a refreshing twist, mix with sparkling water.
