Base Ingredients

  • 1 can crescent roll dough
  • 1 package cream cheese, softened 8 oz
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries or frozen, thawed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a bowl, mix softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and lemon juice until smooth.
  • Roll out the crescent dough and pinch seams together to form a rectangle.
  • Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough and sprinkle with blueberries.
  • Roll the dough tightly and slice into 1-inch pieces.
  • Place rolls on a parchment-lined baking sheet, cut-side up.
  • Brush tops with egg wash for a golden finish.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes, until golden brown.
  • Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Try adding a lemon glaze for extra sweetness!
