Meet Yasin
At the heart of YummyGet is Yasin, our founder and culinary enthusiast. Yasin’s love for cooking started in his grandmother’s kitchen, where he would watch in awe as she transformed simple ingredients into mouthwatering dishes that brought the family together. Those early experiences sparked a lifelong passion that would eventually become YummyGet.
“Some of my earliest memories are standing on a stool next to my grandmother, learning how to knead dough for bread or helping her season traditional dishes,” Yasin recalls. “She taught me that cooking isn’t just about following recipes it’s about putting your heart into every dish.”
Three Generations in the Kitchen
What makes YummyGet special is that it represents a beautiful continuity of culinary tradition across three generations. Today, Yasin creates recipes alongside both his grandmother, who brings decades of traditional cooking wisdom, and his young daughter, who adds curiosity and fresh perspective to their culinary experiments.
This three-generation collaboration results in recipes that honor traditional techniques while embracing modern tastes and ingredients creating dishes that are both timeless and contemporary.
“Watching my grandmother teach my daughter the same techniques she taught me is incredibly moving,” says Yasin. “And sometimes my daughter comes up with combinations or ideas that surprise both of us! That’s the magic of cooking together across generations.”
